In April, a successful trial run of the turbine unit was performed at the new CHPP Sovetskaya Gavan. The equipment was switched on and synchronized with the Unified Electric Power System of the Russian Federation. Construction of the power plant is in its final stage. Electrical equipment is installed: complete switchgears, current-conducting wires, bus ducts, etc.

The installed electric capacity of the new CHPP Sovetskaya Gavan is 126 MW, thermal capacity - 200 Gcal/hour, design annual power generation - 630 million kW-hour. The power plant will allow two large coastal settlements, Vanino and Sovetskaya Gavan, to close fuel oil boilers and switch to central hot water supply.
